On July 4, 2017 the annual meeting of branches of CCMA was held in Weihai Shandong. Mr. Qi Jun, Chairman, Mr. Su Zimeng, Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General, Mr. Long Guojian and Mr. Li Hepeng Consultant of CCMA, members of the board of supervisors, and the heads of 30 branches of CCMA and the staff of Secretariat, a total of 57 people participated the meeting.

Qi Jun, Chairman of CCMA, delivers the report titled the outlook of development trend of China's construction machinery industry and current main work of CCMA.

In the meeting, Chairman Qi delivers a report on the outlook of development trend of China's construction machinery industry and current main work of CCMA. Mr. Qi said that through the efforts of the whole industry, sales of construction machinery maintained a good momentum of growth in the first half of 2017. According to the statistics of CCMA, growth of nine major products line in the first five months have increased by 43.5% year on year, and from January to May, the monthly sales revenue increased by 15%, 67.1%, 40.74%, 43.4% and 43.5% respectively. From the product classification point of view also maintained a positive growth, which grew the least paver has reached 26%, the fastest growth is the excavator increased by 100.5%. Although the data analysis shows that the growth momentum is moderating, the forecast for this year's industry-wide growth of around 10% is optimistic.

The China total import and export volume of construction machinery reached $9.052 billion, increased by 10.9% year on year, out of which imports $1.684 billion, increased by 26.3% year on year; exports $7.368 billion, increased by 7.78% year on year; trade surplus of $5.684 billion, increased by $175 million year on year. The proportion of import growth is greater than that of export; the increase in component import growth was greater than that of the whole machine. Chairman Qi stressed that each branch should do its own industry related work well and accurately grasps the development process of the industry.

Finally, Mr. Su Zimeng, the Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of CCMA made a summary for the one day meeting, he said: “in the face of the steady development of the industry, we need to strengthen our confidence. We are state-level industry associations with rich experience and solid foundation. We have formed a complete service system with our branches; and the Ministry of Civil Affairs has re-defined our business scope on June 2016, that is Industry management, Technology exchange, Training, organizing exhibition at home and abroad, International cooperation and Consultation service, which provide CCMA with new opportunity for further development. As long as we make our best efforts, I am sure CCMA will be able to take a new step of development.”
