On July 4, 2023, the Standardization Working Group of the Ice and Snow Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Working Group) organized a video discussion meeting to promote the preparation of industry standards for ice and snow equipment.

       Wang Jinxing, Deputy Secretary General and Secretary General of the Working Group of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, Di Pengyuan, Deputy Chief Engineer and Vice Chairman of the Working Group of China Machinery Science and Technology (Beijing) Vehicle Testing Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., Zhang Hongjun, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Working Group of Beijing Kabin Xuexing Tianxia Ski Resort Planning and Design Co., Ltd., Yang Yanli, Assistant General Manager and Vice Chairman of the Working Group of Hebei Xuangong Machinery Development Co., Ltd A total of 12 people attended the seminar, including Li Jun, Minister and Deputy Secretary General of the National Engineering Machinery Quality Inspection and Testing Center, Song Jinyun, Director of the Standards and Regulations Department and member of the Working Group of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, Wang Dayu and Ma Yao, as well as representatives from the Vice Chairman's unit. Director Song Jinyun, member of the working group, is responsible for presiding over the discussion and exchange of industry standards.

      This meeting had a thorough discussion and exchange on the preparation and draft standards of four industry standards, namely "Terminology and Definitions of Ice and Snow Equipment," "Terminology and Commercial Specifications of Snow Field Equipment and Snow Machine," "Technical Conditions of Snow Field Equipment and Snow Machine," and "Technical Conditions of Snow Field Equipment and Snow Machine." The above four standards were reviewed and approved at the first session of the working group held in Zhangjiakou in March 2023.

       Each leading standard formulation unit reported on the preparation of industry standards, focusing on sorting out and discussing the framework structure and main content of the standard draft. The leading units with related content in the standard documents should maintain linkage and close communication. In this seminar, leaders and representatives gathered their ideas and put forward rationalization suggestions, reaching a broad consensus.

       The preliminary working group has already solicited participating units from the entire industry twice to participate in the industry standard formulation working group for the proposed project. The leading unit of the standard will revise and improve the standard draft based on the opinions discussed in today's meeting, and organize a discussion meeting of the corresponding industry standard formulation working group as soon as possible, in order to ensure the quality of the four industry standards and smoothly promote the project proposal work. In addition, the working group will extensively communicate with ice and snow equipment enterprises, invite relevant enterprises to actively participate in the formulation of industry standards, and strengthen communication and cooperation among industry enterprises through the product exhibition of Beijing BICES 2023 in September this year. We hope that with the joint efforts of all members of the working group and industry enterprises, we can improve the manufacturing level of ice and snow equipment through standardized work, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of ice and snow equipment.
