The 2nd China-Africa Construction Machinery Cooperation and Development Forum was held in China International Exhibition Center (New Venue) successfully on September 6, 2019. As one of the important international forums during BICES 2019, it is aimed to establish a bridge for China-Africa Cooperation relying on BICES 2019, a great occasion of the world抯 construction machinery industries. BICES? organizer of CCMA co-organizes the 2nd China-Africa Construction Machinery Cooperation and Development Forum with China-Africa Friendly Economic and Trade Development Foundation (hereinafter as CACTPA). There are 22 governmental representatives and business representatives from 15 African countries and three outstanding entrepreneurs from China's construction machinery industry in the African market were invited.

Commercial Counselors and Representatives from the Embassy of Comoros, Egypt, Senegal, Burundi, Togo, Cote d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Niger, Malawi, Angola, Sudan, Libya, and Burkina Faso were invited to the forum. And nearly one hundred representatives from well-known domestic exhibitors such as SANY, SDLG, XCMG, Liugong, SINOMACH, Shantui, Hebei Xuangong and Mobil Oil participated in the forum.

Mr. Su Zhimeng, vice Chairman and secretary general of CCMA delivers a welcome speech: In the time of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 15th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2019) also celebrated its 30th anniversary. And today, we have so many friends from all the African countries to attend the 2nd China-Africa Construction Machinery Cooperation and Development Forum and visit BICES 2019, in order to deeply discuss about the development and cooperation opportunities for china and African countries, especially in the construction machinery areas. On behalf of the exhibition   organizers, I would like to sincerely welcome and thank you all.

China has very close relationships and a long history with many African countries. We have very extensive trade and economic cooperation, especially in the construction machinery industry. For example: the Tanzania-Zambia railway, and Inner Mongolia Railway, and Algeria-Kama Grand Mosque Project etc. We have been conducting numerous projects work with African countries. China has already become the biggest construction machinery manufacturing base, and a major consumer of the world. We have a lot of cooperation with African countries in terms of infrastructure construction, machinery manufacturing and product sales.

We hope that the BICES 2019 will be a platform for a high mutual beneficial and equitable cooperation to create a win win situation for all relevant countries. I believe that this forum will further promote the in-depth cooperation between China and African countries in the fields of construction machinery, building materials machinery and mining machinery.

Mr. Mqabuko Spencer Dube, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Zimbabwe in China, and Mr. Geoffrey Banda, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Zambia in China, have introduced the current situation of the infrastructure of their respective countries and the planning for future construction. They are looking forward to see more Chinese companies to joining their local infrastructure projects. IMPORTS & EXPORT CO. they have shared their current achievements in the African market and their plans for future development in the African market. They also look forward to contributing more to the construction of infrastructure in Africa.

After the forum, the guests continued to visit BICES 2019, paid attention to the part of important exhibitors and characteristic areas. Brand enterprises such like Mobil, CREG, CRCHI, XCMG, SHANTUI, SANY, SDLG, SINOMACH, Jonyang, Hanslaser, ect all of them made a detail introduction on site for the guests. Meanwhile, the guests also visited area of Achievement Exhibition of Construction Machinery Industry for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China, Great Power and High-end Equipment Exhibition Area, Shield Machinery area, Intelligent Manufacture Area & Emergency Rescue Equipment Show Area, International Pavilions, Xuanhua Area etc. They all marveled at what huge achievement gained by China construction machinery industry and express strong desire to develop trade cooperation with China brand enterprises in the further.
