On September 16 local time, the BICES 2027 Business Networking Reception was held in India alongside bauma CONEXPO INDIA, bringing together leading representatives from industry associations, exhibitors and media organizations from China and India. The event provided an important platform for strengthening industry connections, exploring cooperation opportunities and promoting BICES 2027 to the Indian and broader international market.

The event was attended by Su Zimeng, President of the China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA); Wu Peiguo, Vice President and Secretary-General of CCMA; Gao Jun, Assistant to the President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Machinery Sub-Council (CCPIT-MSC); And representatives from the Construction Federation of India (CFI), Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (ICEMA), bauma International Portfolio Lead, Messe München, ARK Events & Media Pvt. Su Zimeng first expressed his sincere appreciation to all the representatives for their long-standing interest in and support for the development of China’s construction machinery industry and BICES. He warmly welcomed and invited industry professionals to visit Beijing in September 2027 for BICES 2027, and to take part in the exhibition, explore the show, exchange insights, and discover opportunities for cooperation.

Su Zimeng highlighted sales of key construction machinery products in the first half of 2026, as well as China’s construction machinery import and export performance. He also outlined the strong growth momentum of new-energy construction machinery, noting that China’s zero-emission construction machinery is gaining increasing recognition among users for its combined advantages of zero emissions, low noise, high efficiency and lower operating costs.

He also noted that the accelerated integration of AI and other emerging technologies will further expand the application of construction machinery, opening up new opportunities for the industry’s future development. At BICES 2027, exhibitors from across the industry are expected to showcase a wide range of new technologies and products designed to meet evolving market needs.

Wu Peiguo gave an overview of BICES’ development and the previous edition, noting that China’s construction machinery industry is rapidly evolving toward intelligent, green and integrated development. Under the theme “Green and Intelligence Lead to Excellence” BICES 2027 will showcase the latest innovations in low-carbon, intelligent and globally oriented construction machinery, positioning the exhibition as a global platform for the launch and showcase of the latest green and intelligent products.

The scenario-based demonstration zones introduced at the previous edition were met with strong industry response and widespread acclaim, becoming one of BICES’ signature features and a major highlight of the exhibition. At BICES 2027, these demonstrations will be further enhanced with a wider range of application scenarios and dynamic showcases. Exhibitors will be encouraged to present integrated green and intelligent solutions for key applications including mining, aggregate plants, roads, buildings, municipal infrastructure, tunnels, ports and warehousing. Through highly visual and immersive live demonstrations, BICES 2027 will offer visitors a closer look at the industry’s latest technologies, innovative products and integrated solutions.

Wu Peiguo then outlined the program of events to be held alongside BICES 2027. He noted that BICES will further expand cooperation with international partner associations and strengthen efforts to attract overseas visitors. He also warmly welcomed relevant Indian associations, media organizations and institutions to organize buyer delegations, visiting groups and business delegations to attend BICES 2027.
